Bowman Races to School Record

David Bowman, a seventh grader at Foundation Academy, has beaten the school record for the two-mile in Cross Country. It is David’s best time yet. He had the time of 13 minutes and 40 seconds.

There are many types of makeup companies that develop makeup for kids and adults. There are an abundance of different types of makeup, and here are some different brands and my personal opinions on them.

Green Team: We Need Your Bags

Until the end of this week, Foundation Academy is having a plastic bag recycling drive. For this fundraiser, students can bring in plastic bags which are used to make blankets for the homeless. At first, our goal was to have at least 2,000 bags in the first week, but we had 2,000 in the first day. Then at the end of the first week we had around 10,000 bags.

Just Beat It

There’s a lot of music out in the world, but some music is better than others. Even though some music might not be as famous as others, that doesn’t mean that it’s not good. Different people like different types of music. Some examples of some different types of music is rock, pop, rap, classical, blues, country, dance, disco, funk, and many others. You don’t have to listen to every type of music there is, you can listen to what music suits you.

In this section you will learn about what heroin overdoses have been doing to the state of Ohio and how it is affecting the families of the ones who have died, or survived the rash of heroin overdoses.

Turn Up the Volume

The three most popular kids TV shows on http://www.thetoptens.com are Spongebob Squarepants, Regular Show, and Gravity Falls. Spongebob is at the top of the list. A Top Tens commenter said that, "Spongebob seasons one through four are really great and yeah the whole family can watch."

Welcome Back Falcons!

Welcome back Foundation Academy! This year, as you might already know, there have been a few changes around the school. These changes involve new playground equipment, changes to the sports department, a repainted gym, and new teachers among other things.

2016 Olympic Recap

This year's Olympics brought many things, but the most recognizable would probably have to be Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps competing in their last Olympics. Usain Bolt has won his ninth gold medal and Michael Phelps has won his twenty-third gold medal.

Down with Dress Code

I don't think we should have dress code because you don't get to express yourself. We are trapped to wear what the school tells us to. We are not allowed to dress like we want, and we don't get to wear bright colors. We are stuck to wear red, white, and blue.
