Costumes originated in the ancient times by the Celtics. They celebrated on November 1st.This day marked the dark times of winter. On this day the Celtics believed that spirits could cross over to the land of the living. They celebrated this to pay respect to the spirits. They would pay their respects by wearing costumes and lighting fires.
Election year has come again! Many think it’s only between Clinton and Trump, but Gary Johnson is also running in all 50 states. The political team went around the school asking staff who they will vote for and why. We asked each staff member three simple questions: who are you voting for, why are you voting for that candidate, and do you think that candidate could make America better?
Foundation Academy has had a lot of fun events, and I think the “Power of Pink” is going to be the best one yet. The power of pink event is helping raise money for a charity called “Pat Kracker Breast Cancer Fund.” The Power of Pink event is during school hours on October 28th at l:30pm.

Donald Trump comes from a different background than most people who run for president. Trump is a business mogul compared to Hillary who has a political background. Since Trump is not a politician many people have doubts about him.
The volleyball team is having a successful season this year. Both the A and B team are excelling very well this season and the girls are doing much better than they have in the past years. They’re winning more games and accomplishing more things. This is one of the best years so far for them. Hopefully they end this season on a good note.

9/11 was a time that no one wants to go back to. It's a time of horror and time where everyone needs to be together. Some people don't remember, or maybe they don't want to. People can even tell you what they were wearing, what they were doing, or even what they were thinking about. 9/11 was a big event in United States history. I recently did some interviews for 9/11, and these are from people who work at our school. These teachers have let me ask them about their 9/11 stories.
So the summer of 2016 is when a lot of great exciting movies were released. A lot of people like different types of movies dramas, romance movies, and action movies for example.
